OBITUARY: Jacob Andrew “Drew” Cooke

Jacob Andrew

Jacob Andrew Cooke (Drew) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 23, 2018.

He was born on October 26th, 1998 in Coral Springs, Florida. He came into the world excited about life and ready for adventure. Drew was always the first person to help friends or family members in need with his sensitive and “fix-it” nature and the warmest hug you never wanted to let go of. He loved going on long drives in his truck and short jaunts in his dad’s fast cars, going fishing, hunting and snowboarding and just hanging out with friends and family. He wanted more than anything to have a family of his own and to continue traditions he loved. He had a larger than life personality, a smile that could light up any room, and a huge heart that loved people and animals. Drew graduated from Franklin High School, was attending Columbia State Community College and worked at Global K9 Protection Services. In his short 20 years with us he touched so many lives with his love, laughter and generosity.

Drew is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Rubin and his grandmother, Jackie Graef. He is survived by his parents, Greg and Diane Cooke; his brothers, Blake Williams and Seth Cooke; his sister, Devin Williams; his grandfather, Dr. Stanley Cooke; grandmother, Evonne Rubin; his Uncles Bill (Kelsey) Rubin, Ken (Sac) Rubin, Bob (Chris) Rubin, and Chris Cooke; eleven first cousins, countless other relatives and a whole community of people who loved him.

Friends and Family are invited to Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, located at 3009 Columbia Ave, in Franklin, TN at 10:00 am for visitation where Drew has asked for everyone to write a memory of your favorite time with him for all to be taken with him. His service will begin at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Justice 4 Drew, LLC 131 Seaboard Lane Franklin, TN 37067 https://www.gofundme.com/justice-4-drew/donate which will assist us in keeping his heart of service alive and supporting others who are struggling with Depression.
