Helen H. Sutton of Toms River New Jersey passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 102. Born to Michael and Magdalena Horbach in Newark, NJ, Helen worked as a librarian at Celanese Chemical Corporation until her marriage to Richard H. Sutton of Burlington, NJ who preceded her in death. Helen lived out her Christian faith through service to others and was proud of her Ukrainian heritage. As a devoted daughter and mother, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, and crocheting. The Suttons moved to Nolensville in 2018 where they attended Jones Chapel Church of Christ.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Barbara Padovich; son, Peter M. Sutton (Diana); and granddaughter, Joanna Sutton.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
