Glenn Stephen (Steve) Pitts, age 75, of Franklin, Tenn., passed away on Dec. 12, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Glenn and Sarah Mae “Polly” Pitts. Steve is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy Hickerson Pitts; son, Tim (Jenny) Pitts; three grandchildren, Alex, Andrew and Abby Pitts; sister, Polly Ann (Doug) Edens.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Ave. in Franklin, with Mark McInteer officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment immediately following in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers: Norman Martin, J.E. Martin, Kyle Hickerson, Mike Whitehead, Roger Richardson, Alex Pitts, Andrew Pitts and Chris Thomas. Honorary pallbearers: Brentwood Hills Sonshiners, Dwight Hickerson, Vernon Adcock and Melvin Everette. Memorials may be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief, Inc. or Room in the Inn.
