Fred Joe Cobb III, age 49 of Nashville, Tenn., passed away on Dec. 12, 2016.
He was beloved Franklin Contributor vendor. A fixture in the Franklin community for the past five years, Cobb was known to deliver a friendly wave to passersby, whether they bought his paper or not.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Cobb and parents, Fred II and Mary Brooks Cobb. Survived by his daughter, Jessie Lynn Cobb Haynes; sister, Jennifer Cobb Dye (Cory); grandson, Eli Keith Haynes.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Fred Cobb Memorial Fund.
