OBITUARY: Elder James “J.B.” Fentress

Elder James “J.B.” Fentress, age 85 of Spring Hill, Tenn., went to be with the Lord, Dec. 27, 2016.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served four years. He also served 26 years with the Tennessee Air National Guard. Elder Fentress pastored at Franklin Primitive Baptist Church and was a retired fireman with Metro Fire Department.

Survived by: wife of 61 years, Wilma Fentress; sons, Charles Michael (Debbie) Fentress and Jerry Allan Fentress all of Spring Hill, Tenn.; brother, Charles Leslie Fentress; grandchildren, Lonnie Allan (Angela) Fentress, Michelle Ann Fentress, Melissa Pagan (Jeremy) Lee and James Pagan; great grandchildren, Skylar and Breanna Lee, Jaxson Pagan, Jaylan and Kash Murry.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Ave., Franklin, withElder Robert Thacker officiating. Interment is at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Members of Franklin Primitive Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Avalon Hospice or Franklin Primitive Baptist Church.
