Mr. Donald Albert Skinner, 69, resident of Columbia, died on Sunday, April 7, 2019.
Born on May 12, 1949 in Franklin, he was the son of the late Albert and Ruth Dodd Skinner. Donald served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1971. On February 14, 1970, he married the love of his life, Marilyn. Donald enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, and being a musician. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan. He attended West Main Church of Christ in Franklin.
Survivors include his wife of forty-nine years, Marilyn Nix Skinner of Columbia; son, Greg (Heidi) Skinner of Murfreesboro; two grandchildren; five sisters; and many other family members.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later time.
