Dana Wendel Dolzen, Sr., age 84 of Brentwood, TN went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 6, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Dan was born in Schenectady, NY on June 2, 1934, son of the late Vincent & Doris Dolzen.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Trudy Slaughter & sister, Phyllis Tomecko.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Shirley Dolzen; son, Dan (Annette) Dolzen, Jr.; daughter, Theresa (Bryan) Irvin; 5 grandchildren, Heather Legieza, Justin Dolzen, Peyton Irvin, Connor Irvin & Chase Slaughter; the family would also like to extend a special thanks to Teresa & Mallory and the entire staff at Williamson Medical Center for the excellent care that was provided.
A memorial service will be held at Forest Hills United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:30 with Jim Hughes officiating. Family gathering will follow after the memorial service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to the Shriner’s International in loving memory of Dana Wendel Dolzen, Sr.
