Jones, Carol Mae passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at her home in Brentwood, TN.
Carol was born December 26, 1946 to Alfrida Redlinski and Branislaus Cholewka in Buffalo, NY. She spent much of her young life in Honolulu, Hawaii raised by her aunt, Joan Spencer, following the death of her parents. She was a graduate of the University of Hawaii, School of Nursing. She spent the last 35+ years as a resident of Brentwood, Tennessee where she was a devoted wife and loving mother of four and worked as a nurse at HCA/Tri-Star hospitals for over 20 years.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Lynn Jones of Brentwood & Kelly Anne Gentry (Micah) of Chattanooga; son, Michael Reed Jones (Kristine) of Monrovia, CA; grandsons, Oliver James Gentry & Holden Jones Gentry; granddaughter, Elena Arevik Jones and many friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Earl Jones; son, Christopher Neal Jones; brother James Spencer; Aunt Joan Spencer.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 12 at Williamson Memorial at 4 PM, with a visitation two hours preceding the service (2-4). In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to Catholic Charities and The Alliance for Recreational Empowerment.
