Allan J. Nicholson, age 58 of Brentwood, TN passed away December 12, 2018. Originally from Somerset County, PA and prior to moving to Brentwood, he resided in Louisville, KY, Jacksonville, FL and Pittsburgh, PA.
Allan was extremely talented and known for his creativity and versatility in recording voice over commercials and book reading on line. His distinct voice was recognized professionally throughout his career. He worked in radio at WVSC AM/FM in Somerset, PA and also for WQED FM in Pittsburgh, PA.
Preceded in death by parents, Silas William and Naomi Rager Nicholson. Survived by: wife, Marilyn Nicholson of Brentwood, TN; daughter, Brandy Sanner Hayes of Brentwood, TN; Collin Michael Hayes of Brentwood, TN; sisters, Katherine (Ray) Dequenne of Mocksville, NC and Charlene Bamman of Somerset, PA; brother in law, Fred L. (Brenda) Berkey of Jacksonville, FL; nieces and nephews, Ray, Jr., Barry, Jocelyn, Damon and Jason Dequenne, Michelle Augenstein, Melissa Salyers, Terry Bamman, Stephanie Allen and Joshua Berkey.
