Love Antiques Roadshow? Then you’ll love Nashville Public Television’s Antiques and Fine Arts Appraisal Day this Saturday at The Factory! And what a great way to spend time with Dad this weekend.
Bring along small heirlooms, or high quality photos of larger items and find out if you’re sitting on a fortune!
Some of the finest appraisers in the region will be at Nashville Public Television’s Antiques & Fine Arts Appraisal Day on Saturday, June 20 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at The Factory at Franklin, located at 230 Franklin Rd, Franklin, TN 37064.
Here are the details for the event:
Up to three items for $75
Up to six items for $150 (limit 6 per person)
Please review the Appraisal Day Waiver. You will be asked to sign this waiver the day of the event.
Appraisals are verbal only – no written appraisals.
Appraisers can appraise very large pieces from good photographs. Bring several clear, in-focus photos: at least one indicating the size or scale of the item, an overall view, and close-ups of detail work, signatures, damaged areas, etc. Staff and volunteers from NPT and The Factory will not be able to assist with carrying items – bring up to 2 people to assist you if necessary. Please no arrowheads, burial material, Pre-Columbian items or ammunition. For large items, photographs are acceptable. Some of the acceptable items include: asian items, books, civil war items, clocks, coins and currency, letters, maps, musical instruments, and more. Â See the complete list of accepted items here.Â
Please note: Doors will be closed from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. No early birds please! The event will take place in Jamison Hall of The Factory.
