The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPRD) is pleased to announce registration for November cultural arts classes at all its facilities. Full descriptions of all classes are available in a new digital department newsletter at  www.wcparksandrec.com

Upcoming cultural arts classes include piano, voice, guitar, Polynesian dance, acrylic painting, basket weaving, oil painting, basic and Manga drawing, pottery and children’s dance. This month’s featured arts program is Zentangle Basics, offered at the Franklin Recreation Complex.


Learn the basics of Zentangle, a relaxing form of abstract art that anyone can do! Complete two pieces of art in this class, with step-by-step instruction provided. Zentangle is offered at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd. on Thursday, November 13 or Thursday, November 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The class fee is $30, plus a supply fee of $5 payable to the instructor. This class is for teens and adults. Call (615) 790-5719, ext. 2010 to register.
