Today is the last day to nominate an individual, business, school or other organization for an Environmental Stewardship Award through the City of Brentwood.

Now in its fourth year, the program recognizes those in the community who are working to protect and conserve Brentwood’s natural resources. Organizations or individuals selected for the awards will be publicly recognized at Brentwood’s Arbor Day Celebration on April 6, 2019 at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library.

An individual, a business, school or any organization you feel enhances the environment, protects or conserves natural resources, or promotes volunteerism for environmental causes can be nominated. Nominations will be accepted through February 22 at 2:00 p.m.

Award categories include Large Organization (100+ employees or members), Small Organization, Educational Institution, Student, Community Volunteer, Small Residential Project, and Green Buildings. Nomination forms and details about the program are available on the city’s website.
