Nolensville cruised to a big halftime lead, then held on to beat Tullahoma, 42-28, on Friday night.

After an 0-4 start, the Knights (2-5) have won two of their last three. Both victories have come at home.

Zach Campbell added a 13-yard touchdown run, followed by a Colby Anderson fumble return for a score, then a 6-yard Campbell run, as the lead was 28-0 at half.

After Tullahoma cut the lead to 35-21 following Wharton’s 7-yard touchdown run, Colton Dooley added a 49-yard rushing score with 3:30 left.

Wharton was 12-of-13 for 133 yards, adding 28 rushing yards and two scores on eight carries.

The Knights racked up 425 yards of total offense.
