Nolensville’s defense gave up just 174 yards, Zach Campbell scored a touchdown, and Luke Jenkins hit a pair of field goals, as the Knights won at Summit, 13-8, on Friday.
Campbell got the Knights on the board with a second-quarter scoring run, with Jenkins hitting the point-after. Campbell caught eight passes for 95 yards and ran for 13 more.
Summit took an 8-0 lead when George Odimegwu ran for a 43-yard touchdown, and Jonathan Myers added a 2-point conversion run. Odimegwu led the Spartans with 16 carries for 64 yards.
Jenkins counted with 34- and 23-yard field goals in the second half, the last coming with 1:48 remaining.
Tim Coutras had an interception for the Knights.
Nolensville (3-1) travels to Lawrence County next week. Summit (2-2) plays on the road at Columbia next Friday.
