Nolensville improved to 2-1 with an easy 41-6 home win over Spring Hill on Friday.
Nolensville sprinted to a 24-0 lead at the end of the first quarter after running back Colton Dooley’s second touchdown. Zach Campbell preceded that with a touchdown catch for the Knights’ first touchdown.
That became 31-0 at the half after defensive back Tim Coutras had an interception return for a score.
Two-way star Timmy Stayskal caught a third-quarter touchdown from Ryder Galardi to extend the Knights’ lead to 41-0. Spring Hill got a late touchdown to spoil the shutout.
Jack McWilliams recovered a first-half fumble for the Knights, and Colby Anderson had an interception.
The Knights, playing just their second year of football, are above .500 for the first time in school history. They avenged Spring Hill’s 27-13 win last year.
Nolensville travels to Summit next week, while Spring Hill (0-3) hosts Riverdale.
