The annual Christmas Tree Lighting and North Pole Experience will be held tonight, Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at the Nolensville Town Hall, 7218 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN 37135.
Festivities begin at 6 p.m. and are expected to wrap up at about 8 p.m.
The annual tree lighting will include a visit from Santa, music by the Nolensville High School Band, Christmas ornament making activities for children, hot chocolate, and the reading of the Christmas Story.
Parking is located around the area near Town Hall and Police Officers will be in the area to assist with pedestrian traffic.
The event is free and open to the public.
