Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) has a lineup of five coed summer sports camps in Nolensville. Kids in grades 1-7 are invited to register for basketball, volleyball or table tennis camps. Each camp is $65, and requires pre-registration in person at the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville, 7250 Nolensville Rd.
Karen Booker, former WNBA star, will conduct two basketball camps at Sunset Middle School, 200 Sunset Trail, Brentwood, June 8-12. Beginner basketball camp (grades 1-4) will be from 9:00 a.m. to noon; and intermediate basketball for grades 5-7 will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. All skill levels are welcome, and you must pre-register at the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville.
Volleyball camps are scheduled for June 15-19 in the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville gym. Beginner camp (grades 1-4) will be from 9:00 a.m. to noon, with intermediate camp (grades 5-7) from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The instructor will be Tracy Berry and all skill levels are welcome.
In July, Alex Lim will conduct a table tennis camp for grades 1-7 at the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville. Learn basic skills and rules in this camp, July 20-24 from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
