Fogatas will open soon in the former location of La Terraza Mexican Grill at 1010 Murfreesboro Road in the Maples Shopping Center in Franklin.
This will be the second location for Fogatas. You can also find Focatas in Nashville on Nolensville Road, tucked in a shopping center next to Lowe’s. When their Nashville location opened, they quickly became a favorite among locals. The authentic Mexican restaurant has won the praises of every local food critic and a few have even said they wanted to keep a secret; it’s that good. 
While the new Franklin restaurant is still under construction, co-owner Narciso Viñas spoke to us about expanding into Franklin.
He and his brother Miguel, who own Fogatas in Nashville, had been looking for the perfect place to open a second location. After much consideration, they felt Franklin was the right choice.
If you haven’t visited the Nolensville Road location, Viñas tells us everything on the menu is made from scratch, and there will be over 100 items on the menu. Fogatas will also be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and will be offering a juice bar along with agua fresca.
The exact date for opening hasn’t been set, but they hope to be open for service next week. Keep checking back here for updates.
