The Nolensville Recreation Complex Opens Feb. 14

The time has come for the Grand Opening of the new Nolensville Recreation Complex. On Valentine’s Day, Saturday, Feb. 14, the Williamson County Parks and Recreation department will be hosting an event to showcase the new facility located at 7250 Nolensville Rd. with a brief ceremony starting at 10 a.m., and the facility will be open until 6 p.m.

Participants will have a chance to purchase passes, register for classes, tour the building, meet the staff, plus have a chance at some giveaways. The complex amenities will be available for use starting Sunday, February 15 at 1 p.m.

As the fifth recreation complex in Williamson County, the Nolensville facility features 35,809 square feet of space in the bones of the old Nolensville Elementary School constructed in the 70s. The complex has a large exercise area, a gymnasium, large rooms for dance and aerobics classes, child care, rooms for group meetings with a warming kitchen, and an outdoor swimming pool that will open on May 26.

Special deals in the facility will be happening during the month of February. Aerobics and indoor cycling classes are available for $1 per class, and during the week of February 22-28 a series of free classes will be available for patrons to check out the facility and meet class instructors. Also, annual passes that may be used at any Parks and Recreation facility will be sold for $25 off at the Nolensville Complex in February.
