Nolensville Fun Run to Benefit Tucker’s House

Runners in Nolensville will be raising money this Saturday for Tucker’s House, a local non-profit. The third annual Miles for Amelia event will take place Saturday, June 27 at Nolensville Park from 6 a.m. to noon.
The Nolensville Running Club has raised $33,000 over the past two years for Tucker’s House, a non-profit organization that helps children with disabilities have independence within their homes. Tucker’s House work with families of children with disabilities to build accessible accessories into homes.
Miles for Amelia is named for Amelia Fleming, daughter of Steven and Kristy Fleming. Amelia has Spinal Bifida, and Tucker’s House made Amelia’s Bent Creek home more accessible by retrofitting her bedroom and bathroom.

“Steven is a lived member of the NRC family, so we wanted to help. NRC just wanted to keep going.” said Megan Brazill, organizer of the event.

Anyone is invited to join the event to walk, run or cheer on those on the track.
