Noe, a Franklin High alum, has most recently served as an assistant for Darrell Barnwell for the Franklin High girls’ team. Noe had previously served as an assistant for Barnwell at Page from 2001-2004, before moving to Independence for one season with Barnwell. Noe’s first local head coaching job came as the head coach for the Heritage Middle School boys for two years. After two years for the Hornets, he returned to Rudderville as a boys’ assistant coach for the Patriots for three years. In his last stop before returning to his alma mater, Noe was an assistant boys’ coach at Independence.

Noe replaces Ralph Ringstaff, who had served as head coach since 2012. Ringstaff had followed in his father James’s footsteps. The elder Ringstaff is the namesake of the Patriots’ gymnasium.
