Mr. Football Semi-Finalists Announced
On Monday morning, the semi-finalists for the Tennessee Titans Mr. Football awards were announced. The awards are given to the top back and lineman in each of the Division I and Division II classifications and one kicker across all classifications in state. The top back is awarded to a running back, quarterback, or wide receiver. The top lineman award can be awarded to any offensive lineman, defensive lineman, or linebacker.
The two finalists for each award will be announced on Monday November 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM. The winners will be announced Monday November 30 at Nissan Stadium at the Mr. Football Luncheon. The award will be decided by a committee of statewide sportswriters based on the 2015 regular season. Academics and character will also be taken into consideration by the committee.
Local teams will be well represented, with 9 players from Williamson County programs announced as semi-finalists.

Spence Jones – Quarterback – Franklin Road Academy
Division II Class AA Lineman: Ryan Johnson – Offensive Tackle – Brentwood Academy
Bryce Mathews – Offensive Tackle – Brentwood Academy
Division II Class AA Back: Jeremiah Oatsvall – Quarterback – Brentwood Academy
Kicker of the Year: Crews Holt – Kicker – Ravenwood
