Newk’s Eatery opens today (June 22nd) at the CityPark in Brentwood. To prepare for the grand opening managers and a training team with Newk’s corporate spent time with their newest employees to make sure guests would get both excellent service, and well prepared food for the grand opening.

This will be the fourth local Newk’s Eatery for the local franchise owners. The locations they operate include: Murfreesboro, Nashville-West End, Franklin and now Brentwood. A franchise, Newk’s was founded in 2004 by Don Newcomb, Debra Bryson and Chris Newcomb in Oxford, Mississippi. The team had previously founded McAlister’s Deli and transformed the restaurant into one of the fastest-growing, fast-casual restaurants of the time.

The focus has always been on fresh, delicious food, made to order for customers who expect great quality, and excellent customer service. From the Newk’s homemade dressings for the salads, soups made daily and roasted garlic created daily, every detail goes into the menu items.

Newk’s Eatery is all about good food, and supporting the community. From June 17th through the 26th, “Dishes for Wishes” will be a way for Newk’s to give back as proceeds from purchases support the Make a Wish Foundation. In the community, Newk’s is a supporter of many local non profits, and sports teams.

Newk’s Eatery offers catering options with their one of a kind chicken salad, pimiento cheese or pesto chicken. Salads are fresh-tossed and layered with ingredients packed full of goodness. Dessert trays and more, can be brought right to you. Whatever your social calendar has in store – from premier events, office gatherings or a football game tailgate, it’s no problem for staff to meet their customers catering needs.
