A new vintage and antique store will open this Sunday, May 5th near downtown Franklin.

The store is called Vintage, TN and owners Matthew Rogers and Brandy Brown have assembled their best finds  for the shop at 1552 Columbia Avenue in Franklin.

A grand opening event and live auction will be held this Sunday, May 5th from Noon to 6 p.m. During the grand opening event, the store will always celebrate Cinco de Mayo with tamales, cervezas, and margaritas.

“Matthew is a web designer, cryptocurrency trader and e-waste recycler who grew up in Franklin. We met during our many travels and have always connected over our entrepreneurial spirit,” Brown explains. “Since relocating to Franklin from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, I have been a digital marketer and a Poshmark ambassador. Together we have traveled around the southern region in our RV named Frankie III, discovering treasures that we are thrilled to share.”

Rogers says the experience will allow the couple to continue growing their relationship while building a community around things they’re both passionate about.

The 8,000 square-foot space is not only packed with unique vintage and antique finds from around the country and world, but also plans to be a location for learning – workshops, maker spaces, craft room/tool rentals and more opportunities are in the works.

“There’s something for everyone, and all are welcome,” Rogers says. “That’s why we put the comma in our brand: Vintage, TN. Our mission is to be not just a storefront, but a destination.”

Vintage, TN is open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, follow their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pg/vintagetn and check them out online www.vintagetn.com
