New Restaurant Headed to Buffalo Wings & Rings Vacated Space

The Rutledge

A permit has been granted for renovations of the former Buffalo Wings & Rings building, at 105 International Drive in Franklin, to make way for a new restaurant called The Rutledge.

While we don’t know much about this new restaurant, the City of Franklin confirms that the permit is for a restaurant with dining and a bar. If you drive by the restaurant, you can see the exterior brick has been painted white.

A Facebook page has been created for the restaurant and it states The Rutledge serves American cuisine restaurant for brunch, lunch, and dinner.  There’s no opening date mentioned on Facebook but on The Rutledge Instagram, it states opening February 2019.

The Rutledge is owned by brothers Mason and Curt Revelette, co-owners and partners of Jonathan’s Grille. Earlier this year, City Lights, a seven story luxury condo development in downtown Nashville, announced The Rutledge would be the development’s anchor restaurant with 185 seats and opening sometime in spring 2019.

The website for The Rutledge lists its address as 105 International Drive, Franklin and does not list the address for City Lights in Nashville. We have reached out for comment about the opening date of the Franklin restaurant and to find out if the Franklin location will be the restaurant’s second, but we have yet to receive a reply.

Keep checking back here for updates as we receive them.

Buffalo Wings & Rings closed its doors on October 1, 2018. The restaurant opened in late 2016 and was owned by Mark Cross.
