New Music Friday April 26

Sheryl Crow

While we wait to see if Taylor Swift will be releasing new music- take a listen to these five new songs

1. New Politics – “Comeback Kid”

Alternative rock band New Politics just released their new single “Comeback Kid.” Along with the new single, the band is also celebrating their 10 year anniversary as a band. In June, they will be doing a 6-city intimate venue tour to get up close and personal with the fans that have supported them throughout the 10 years.

2. Sheryl Crow, Johnny Cash –  “Redemption Day”

Crow recorded this song back in 1996 and later Cash recorded the song; it was released after his death. Now the two come together on this newly released single. The song is from Crow’s upcoming album which will also include duets with Keith Richards, Stevie Nicks, and Eagles members Don Henley and Joe Walsh among others.

3. Chrissy Metz- “I’m Standing with You”

“This is Us” Chrissy Metz, star of BREAKTHROUGH in theaters now, has released her first ever music video for “I’m Standing With You.” The original song written by 10-time Oscar nominated songwriter Diane Warren, is featured in the film and the BREAKTHROUGH movie soundtrack. The video illustrates a vivid story of keeping faith even when moments in life seem to be at their darkest.

4. Love and Theft – “Gimme Tonight”

Love and Theft’s new single “Gimme Tonight” is out now. The sultry upbeat jam is written by Jaren Johnston (The Cadillac Three) and the late Andrew Dorff. The duo is continuously evolving and pushing boundaries with their music by featuring signature harmonies wrapped in a fresh modern sound and “Gimme Tonight” is no exception.

5. New Kids on the Block – “Boys in the Band”

New Kids on the Block come to Bridgestone Arena in May. Just as the band reissued the 30th Anniversary edition of Hangin Tough, they released this new song “Boys in the Band” where they pay tribute to the many boy bands.
