On Thursday IKEA made the official announcement that they are opening an Antioch location.
The store will be part of the Century Farms mixed-use development, off Interstate 24 at Hickory Hollow Parkway just south of Bell Road. The 36-acre site will hold a 341,000 square foot store.
IKEA also said in the announcement that the store will add 250 permanent jobs to the area and they hope to open by summer 2020. IKEA has 390 stores in 48 countries, with 43 U.S. locations.
