The Sesquicentennial Signature Event at The Factory featured special musical performance by the New Hope Academy Children’s Choir singing “Wade in the Water.” The song is an old spiritual first published by the Fisk Jubilee Singers in 1901, and later made popular by Ramsey Lewis in the 1960s.
The Signature Event was held to honor the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Franklin.
