New Hope Academy Benefits from Southwestern Advantage’s Support

Online early learning and homework help is being provided to New Hope Academy students by Southwestern/Great American Inc., a Nashville-based company. More than 80 employees of Southwestern Advantage visited New Hope Academy to demonstrate and present the tools.

The company is donating a 10-month subscription to each New Hope student. The online products include the company’s signature www.swadvantage.com, a character-based educational curriculum that helps students in grades 3 – 12 with their homework. Also being donated is www.Skwids.com, which uses games activities, and videos to make learning fun for young learners up to age 8. Additionally parents are being provided a resource tool that provides advice on important topics on parenting.

“We are grateful to Southwestern Advantage for choosing our students to support their educational experience,” said Stuart Tutler, New Hope Academy headmaster. “New Hope Academy and Southwestern/Great American share a similar vision regarding education.” New Hope opened its doors in 1996. New Hope Academy reserves 50 percent of its seats for low-income children, and raises more than $1,000,000 annually to provide scholarships to those students.
