New Franklin Chick-fil-A Opens Wednesday

As of 6:30 am Wednesday, Aug 14, the new Chick-fil-A, at 1122 Murfreesboro Road, Franklin, is officially open!

Ahead of the restaurant’s official opening, the restaurant held a ribbon-cutting event and hosted its traditional First 100 Campout, an overnight event that awards the first 100 customers with Chick-fil-A for a year!

Despite thunder, lightning and pouring rain, more than 230 people came out Tuesday night to try to be one of the first 100 people in line.

A drawing was held and ended with 100 participants, plus 10 alternates, who are planning to stay onsite overnight.

The participants set up their tents, were served dinner, enjoyed games and dancing. On Wednesday morning, the Chick-fil-A cow leads the campers in a conga line through the restaurant to receive their year supply sometime between 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m

Operator Bill Pfaender, will continue to operate the Chick-fil-A Thoroughbred Square location in addition to the newest Franklin location. Pfaender is a former Marine where he served for 20 years, and also has almost 21 years as a Chick-fil-A operator.
