A new BBQ restaurant, specializing in artisan smoked meats, will open in Cool Springs next month.
Hogwood BBQ announced they will open at 600A Frazier Drive, Suite 100, behind Walgreens and across the street from Starbucks. They anticipate a grand opening on April 19th.
This is the first Hogwood location to open in Tennessee. Located in Thoroughbred Square in
Cool Springs, this new restaurant will be operated by Emily Yamanaka. Emily previously served with Chick-fil-A for 8 years in increasing levels of leadership roles across the country.
“We have been waiting for the right opportunity to bring the unique Hogwood dining experience to Cool Springs,” said Emily Yamanaka, Hogwood Operator. “This new Hogwood location will positively impact the community of Franklin by providing the most delicious artisan smoked BBQ and signature sides for dine-in, take-out, or delivery. It is our pleasure to serve Franklin and I look forward to changing the way my guests experience BBQ.”
The Hogwood experience starts with the FIRE. Using locally sourced orchard wood, Hogwood builds the perfect fire to slow smoke the finest hand-rubbed beef brisket, duroc pork, turkey, ribs, and craft sausages available. The Hogwood menu is the creation of Chef Michael Marsee, who combined his passion for great BBQ with his culinary experiences across the world to elevate timeless classics such as mac ‘n cheese, grits, kale salad, cole slaw, and beans into Hogwood signature sides that are as unique as they are delicious.
The Hogwood restaurant will comfortably seat 65 guests in an industrial-chic and friendly
environment that will accommodate groups of all sizes. Piglet meals are available for kids and a Pit Pack can be picked up quickly after work to feed 4-6 people at home.
