One comment said, “Taking a cue from IHOP and going with Nashville Burgers?” while another fan commented, “Nashville Pedal Taverns!” and there was another guess -“Nashville Traffic”

But not to worry, the name change is temporary. On the Nashville Sounds website, it states, “The Nashville Sounds and Round Rock Express have announced an eight-game home-and-home series to #BattleForTheBoot during the 2018 season. This will be the 2nd annual Battle For The Boot The series will feature both teams wearing jerseys best representing their respective city. The Nashville Sounds will become the Nashville Honky Tonks and the Round Rock Express will become the Round Rock Dance Halls.

The Sounds will wear the “Nashville Honky Tonks” jersey at home from June 21st to the 24th with live music from Cumberland Hospitality each night. Fans can purchase the limited edition jerseys and t-shirts on the website.
