Nashville Chef Competes to Be Next Food Network Star

The 11th season of Food Network’s popular cooking competition show ‘Food Network Star’ debuts June 7th at 8pm and a notable Nashville chef has made the cut.

Arnold Myint, of Nashville, is one of 12 chefs selected for the competition. ‘Food Network Star’ is the chance of a lifetime and, as their site states, “the ultimate job interview.”

Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis will choose who among the finalist have that special something that will make them the next Food Network Star.

Arnold is not only a talented chef but also owns three restaurants in Nashville: PM, Blvd and Suzy Wong’s House of Yum.

Arnold says his parents are the source of his passion for cooking: “My mother’s a chef, and I was raised cooking with her. But my father’s the one that cooked for me, so not only do I have the technique and the palate, but I also see the passion and the love behind creating a dish. Something as simple as an egg is memorable to me because of who made it,” states the Food Network Star blog.

This isn’t Arnold’s first time on a popular food show. He was a contestant on Season 7 of Bravo’s ‘Top Chef.’

Voting is already taking place online for Fan Favorite. Click here to vote for Arnold. You can vote as many times as you want. Once you’ve voted, you can also enter a sweepstakes for your chance to win weekly themed prizes throughout the season, as well as a whopping $4,000 cash prize!
