Ever think how you can help an animal in need? Why not adopt one and help them every day of their life? Friday night, Kimbro’s Pickin Parlor held a fundraiser for wehelpanimals.net. Frank Ortega kicked of the night with some kickin’ tunes.
Also on the tab for the night were Ray Scott and the Band of Beagles.
Dr. Benny Wood and his wife, Alix, were also on hand. Mrs. Wood, who is a co-founder in the organization, works closely with her husband and co-founder, Nancy Whittemore, to make sure all animals have the best care at hand.

Plan to attend an evening with Frank Ortega & Friends at Kimbro’s Picking Parlor on Friday, June 29th. Music will play and proceeds will support www.wehelpanimals.net in their first ever concert where dogs are allowed too. Come out and enjoy as notable musicians attempt to raise the roof with howls from puppies and partners.
Doors open at 5 p.m., and music begins at 7 p.m. Dos Equis presents Frank Ortega & Friends; Ray Scott, and The Beagles in honor & celebration of local animal protection efforts. Your $5 suggested donation at the door serves to ensure animals in dire situations receive the care, support, & homes they need & deserve.
