Morning Source with Donna Vissman talks with Kathy Dooley Smith about upcoming events at the Brentwood Library.
The Friends of the Brentwood Library will host its fourth annual Booktacular event at the library on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 3 to 5 p.m. The Booktacular brings children and families together in a safe, welcoming environment where they can explore one of our community’s greatest educational resources while also scaring up a great time.
The event starts in the lobby and is intended for children 12 and under. It will feature 15 treat stations located throughout the library, a photo-op area, and a skele-ton of fun. The first 300 children at the Booktacular will also receive two free books, thanks to generous donations by the Friends of the Brentwood Library and Ingram Books. Costumes will be admired but not required. That evening there will be a teen event and each month the library hosts a tasting event on Thursday evening.
