Moonshine Hill Inn, a small cabin getaway and event/wedding venue, located just outside of Leiper’s Fork, will no longer accept reservations, the owners announced via social media.

Owners Gloria and Richard Broming shared that they’ve decided to live on the property.

They stated, “We’ve fallen in love! We didn’t mean for it to happen but Moonshine Hill Inn has become our home. We have decided to pause the bookings for an unknown period of time and live on the property here at Moonshine Hill.”

The couple purchased the Inn from Ann Johnson three years ago with the intentions of keeping it as a rental property,

“When we purchased Moonshine Hill Inn 3 years ago, our intention was to continue sharing this beautiful property with the public as a rental home. We love Laguna Beach but had a strong desire to come to the south. After one visit to Moonshine Hill, we knew we had found a special place and decided to continue to live in California and visit Tennessee occasionally. Each time we returned to Laguna, we felt we were leaving our home behind.”

There was no timeline given on when the property will be available to rent. However, they did share renovations and new projects will be underway soon. The couple thanked all who had come out to visit the property.

“We hope our paths cross again. We are so grateful to all the guests who have visited us over the years.”

Moonshine Hill Inn is a retreat sitting on 22-acres, with 1,500 square-foot cabin nestled on the property. Harper’s Bazaar named it one of the Top Ten B&B/Inn’s in the Country. Guests who stayed at the property would receive daily breakfast at Puckett’s Grocery, access to an outdoor grill and fire pit along with a tree branch pavilion.
