Mom Who Delivered Baby on I-65 in Franklin Needs Help

Sarah Roberts made headlines when she delivered her baby on I-65 at Mile Marker 55 back in 2014.

Her son, Jeremiah, made quite an entrance into the world with the help of the Spring Hill Fire Department and Life Guard Ambulance crew.

Today, Sarah and her husband Devon Roberts are asking for your help.

After a few weeks of a “cold” they decided to go to the hospital on December 24th, 2015. Within a few hours and after some blood tests, they found themselves in the Oncology ward. On Christmas Day, Sarah began chemotherapy to help lower her white blood count which was off the charts.

The official cancer diagnosis–Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. From a cold on Christmas to cancer in a few short days. Their world has been turned upside down by the news. They will be in the hospital a minimum of a month while they prep for rounds of chemotherapy and go through the process of fighting this disease.

A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family to help with expenses. The money you contribute will go directly to helping them fight this disease and get her home to her family. It will also help with any bills and things they need. If you know Devon and Sarah you know that they are both amazing people who will treat every donation with care and prayer. Your money is going to a great cause.

With at least the next month living in the hospital, the family will have many obstacles to overcome. First and foremost should be their undivided focus on Sarah’s healing. With your donations, however small or large, you are helping them worry less about financially supporting themselves and more on Sarah’s health.
