Looney also had high praise for Justice.

“Alicia has worked side by side as Hillsboro earned these top honors,” said Looney. “She is ready to take over the reins and continue leading the school to new heights.”

Miller has served as principal of Hillsboro since November of 2010. While in Williamson County Schools, she also served as principal of College Grove Elementary. Prior to that time, she was a principal and teacher in California, beginning her education career in 1994.

“Education is my passion, and I look forward to bringing my dedication to the students, families and future staff of Mill Creek Middle School and to the entire Nolensville community,” said Miller. “My five years at Hillsboro have been the most rewarding of my life, and I will deeply miss working with the students, staff and families there.  That being said, I know that Hillsboro will be in excellent hands with Mrs. Justice.”
