Work continues to progress nicely at the site of some of Williamson County’s newest schools.

Mill Creek Elementary and Mill Creek Middle share a campus in Nolensville. The schools will open in August 2016 with Mill Creek Elementary serving students in grades K-5 and Mill Creek Middle serving students in grades 6-8. While they are two separate schools, Mill Creek Elementary and Mill Creek Middle will be housed within the same building similar to Sunset Elementary and Sunset Middle schools.

At the Mill Creek campus, the building concrete is complete; the concrete masonry is complete; and the stucco/plaster is complete. All buildings are under a roof structure with the installation of edge metal continuing. All exterior glass and doors are installed; electrical rough-ins are currently being installed in both gymnasiums; and heat is on in the A and B wings while temporary heat is servicing all other areas of the building.

At the Nolensville High campus, the contractor has started installing VCT in the corridors of the school. The installation of doors has begun; case work has been installed in science classrooms and teacher work areas; and the ceiling grid has been installed in the auditorium. Work continues in both the auxiliary gym and the main gym as they near completion as well.

The projects are on time and set to be completed prior to the start of the 2016-17 school year.
