The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Flash Flood Watch and Wind Advisory for most of Middle Tennessee today and predicted thunderstorms, some severe. The bulk of the weather is expected to hit the area between 1p-4p. Temperatures will be in the high 60s and low 70s today.

Hazardous Weather Outlook from NWS:
A strong cold front will pass through Middle Tennessee. Strong southerly winds head of this passage will cause gusts over 35 mph and a Wind Advisory is in effect until 6pm.
A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible with damaging winds and an isolated tornado or two being the main hazards. Heavy rainfall from these storms on already saturated grounds will lead to localized flash flooding. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 9pm.
