Today we begin a 2 part series of our memorable moments of 2014. It’s been a great year for Williamson Source, and 2015 looks even better! Here’s some of our most newsworthy moments and favorite things we covered during 2014!
- JANUARY: We got a sit down with local Rock n Roll Legend Walter Egan. In a sadder note, Nick Paranjape was on the scene when Franklin lost a home that dated to the 1800’s.
- FEBRUARY: 3 Blind Vines saw a record attendance and Donna Vissman was there to cover it. First severe weather came early as strong storms damaged many neighborhoods and Harlinsdale Farm.
- MARCH: We saw the last issues of the Review Appeal and Brentwood Journal go quietly into that still night. BrewFest was a record crowd and fun was had by all!
- APRIL: Nashville was named top 100 in allergy cities, we looked at ways for relief. And A Vintage Affair showed us a great time at A Vintner’s Affair.
- MAY: Kelly Sutton joined our staff, and her Celebrity Spotlight with Jo Dee Messina covered everything from music to rural preservation, in a way only Jo Dee could tell it. The Americana Experience was a week long celebration of music in Williamson County and we caught Rae Hering at Gray’s during the event.
- JUNE: Saw Vandy win the College World Series of Baseball. Sinclaire Sparkman hung with Willow Park during Westhaven’s PorchFest . And a tour of the Williamson County Heritage Foundation’s Tour of Homes.
Watch tomorrow as we cover the rest of the year and thank you for a wonderful 2014! (video from Main Street Festival 2014)
