Meet the Founder of Sister Schubert Rolls at Local Franklin Store

Sister Schubert

Patricia Barnes (or better known as Sister Schubert), who is well known for her famous rolls, will be signing copies of her cookbook, Celebrations From the Heart, at Polka Dots and Happy Thoughts in the Berry Farms community in Franklin on Saturday, November 4th from 10a-4p.

Patricia Barnes, co-author Betty Sims, and artist Nall Hollis invite you into their homes and into their hearts with 23 menus celebrating family and friends, holiday’s and life’s special occasions. Each menu includes recipes, beverage suggestions, photos, china patterns designed by Nall, and lots of tips and hints for throwing your own successful Celebrations. In addition to scrumptious recipes, stunning photographs, charming stories and “oh so helpful” hints and tips, Nall has added another “layer of icing on the cake” with seven pieces of his unique multi-media artwork, three of which were created exclusively for Celebrations from the Heart.

Proceeds from the sale of Celebrations From the Heart will go to the three foundations that are near and dear to Patricia, Betty, and Nall’s hearts – Barnes Family Foundation, The Sims Family Foundation for ALS Research and N.A.L.L. Art Association.  To order copies of Celebrations From the Heart, call or e-mail Polka Dots and Happy Thoughts at 615-628-8273 or [email protected].
