McCalls Gives Us Tips to Remove PB&J Stains

Steps to Remove Stain

Step 1: Gather the following supplies: clear dishwashing detergent, white vinegar, white towels, warm water, a sponge, and paper towels.

Step 2: Prepare the detergent solution by mixing 1/2 teaspoon of detergent to one cup of warm water.

Step 3: Scrape or blot up excess spill.

Step 4: Apply detergent solution, use a damp towel, and leave 3-5 minutes.

Step 5: Blot- don’t rub.

Step 6: Apply white vinegar (undiluted), using a damp towel and blot.

Step 7: Apply water with a damp sponge.

Step 8: Blot again. Repeat steps 4-8 until blot cloth is clean. Finish by weighing down a half-inch thick pad of white paper towels to absorb all the moisture. Leave overnight if necessary.
