Maui Wowi Hawaiian in the Berry Farms development in Franklin opened their doors in October 2014 but many customers were sad to see a social media post on Sunday that the store is closing.

“With a heavy heart, we are announcing our closure in the Franklin Tn location. We are grateful for all of our loyal patrons and good friends we have made along this journey. We hope to see you at events we will attend in the future,” reads the post.

According to a Facebook post, Maui Wowi intends to be at the Williamson County Fair next year.

The first Tennessee Maui Wowi Hawaiian opened in Mt Juliet in August 2013. The Mt. Juliet location has also permanently closed.

Recently, Berry Farms announced the addition of some large, local companies, such as Ramsey Solutions, Lee Company, Tennessee Baptist Convention and more. Read more here.
