Mary Sarah from “The Voice” Will Perform at The Factory

Country Singer Mary Sarah will appear at Rodeo & Juliet’s monthly “Fun and Intimate Night of American Roots Music” performance at The Little Brick Theater at the Factory in Franklin on Saturday, Dec. 3.

Beginning at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for a wine bar, Sarah will also be joined by The Helmermann Children’s Choir and LA & Nashville session singer Gary Janney. The show will have a Christmas theme.

Recently, Sarah returned to NBC’s wildly popular “The Voice” through the end of this season, where she, along with fellow 2016 season alumni Bryan Bautista, will be the co-hosts of “Kohl’s Green Room,” showcasing some of the hottest fashions and trends from the show.

Sarah finished in the top five of the 2016 season as part of Team Blake, having initially earned an impressive four chair turn in the Blind Auditions of the show with her version of “Where the Boys Are.”

“I really am looking forward to being back in LA with the friends I made last season,” she said.

Prior to the 2016 season of “The Voice,” a then 20-year-old Sarah made history by being the youngest artist to record an album of duets with some of country music’s biggest names. It was a captivating 12-song collection titled “Bridges.”

Amazed by the Texas ingénue’s voice and talent, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Vince Gill, the Oak Ridge Boys, the late Ray Price and others all signed on to sing with Sarah on their most iconic hits.

Parton’s “Jolene,” Nelson’s “Crazy” and Haggard’s “The Fightin’ Side of Me” are just a few of the songs interpreted by Sarah and her A-list collaborators.

Produced by Kent Wells, longtime guitarist, producer and band leader for Parton, the project was also overseen by the late executive producer Freddy Powers, who helped Sarah assemble her dream team of collaborators.

Following the 2016 season of “The Voice,” Sarah has continued to perform and has made multiple appearances at the prestigious Grand Ole Opry.

Last week, she made an impromptu appearance singing “Heartaches By The Numbers” in Nashville with renowned The Time Jumpers.

She is currently in the process of writing for a new project due out in 2017.
