Maren Morris is released the first single from her sophomore album titled “Girl” on country radio Thursday evening.
With a new album comes a new tour. Morris announced her world tour “Girl:The World Tour” and she has enlisted a total female lineup for the tour including Cassadee Pope and Raelynn. Hitting the road in March with the first date in Chicago, the tour will stop in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium on March 13. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, January 22 at 10 a.
The GRAMMYS are just weeks away and it could be a first for Morris as she was nominated in several categories- “The Middle” with Zedd and Gray for Record of the Year, Best Country Solo Performance of the Year, and Best Country Song for ” Dear Hate.”
Morris won a CMA for New Artist of the Year back in 2016 when she launched her debut album Hero.
