Maneet Chauhan’s Latest Venture Opens Today

The Mockingbird

If you have visited 12th Avenue North in Nashville, you might have also heard it referred to as Maneet Chauhan’s street.

The Food Network ‘Chopped’ judge, who calls Williamson County home, along with Morph Hospitality Group will be opening a third restaurant in the area as of today- The Mockingbird. The Mockingbird

A modern take on a diner is the concept behind The Mockingbird, featuring comfort food like burgers, a fried chicken dish called “The Bird is the Word,” cookies served in a birdcage, and milkshakes with ice cream from Pied Piper Creamery.

The Mockingbird is led by the talented culinary duo of executive chef Brian Riggenbach and front-of-house extraordinaire Mikey Corona. Inspired by the restaurant’s namesake, Riggenbach has created The Mockingbird’s menu to mimic its surroundings, offering comfort food favorites influenced by the many global elements that make up American culture and cuisine.

Chauhan also opened a brewery in Franklin called Mantra Artisan Ales. At the end of July, patrons were treated to a visit by Chauhan, Brian Riggenbach, and Mikey Corona as they served guest items from the newly created menu at The Mockingbird. Chauhan will be back at Mantra Artisan Ales in August for another special event.

Hours of operation are 5p to 10p  Sunday through Thursday and 5p to 11p Friday and Saturday. The Mockingbird is located at 121 A 12th Avenue North, Nashville. Follow The Mockingbird on Facebook for the latest updates. Be sure to visit Chauhan’s two other restaurants on 12th- Chauhan Ale and Masala House and Tansuo.
