The Rite Aid Pharmacy at 1122 Murfreesboro Road in Franklin was robbed last Friday.
At 8:40 p.m. about 20 minutes before closing, a white man walked up to the counter with a note demanding drugs, according to Franklin Police. The pharmacist complied with the demand and the man left the store.
Surveillance footage in the store was recovered by police. Police, however, are not at this time releasing any possible pictures of the suspect.
“The suspect, a white male, remains at large,” Charlie Warner, Public Information Officer for Franklin Police, said. “The investigation is very active.”
The incident appears to be an isolated one. Warner said that these types of crimes are fortunately infrequent in Franklin, but can happen anywhere.
