The Mall at Green Hills Opens New Wing

Green Hills Mall

The Mall at Green Hills opened its much-anticipated, 132,000 sq. ft. expansion on Friday. The new, two-level wing offers a direct interior connection to both levels of Dillard’s store for the first time in over two years, as well as great new tenants and more parking. In addition to the expansion, the entire center has been transformed with a bright, modern design, soft seating, charging stations and updated interior fixtures designed to cater to the needs and preferences of today’s consumers.

“This expansion and renovation strengthens our position as the dominant shopping and dining destination in the Nashville market,” said Kimberly Hales, general manager, The Mall at Green Hills. “With expanded retail, a fresh look and more brands and restaurants coming soon, the mall truly offers a brand-new experience for customers.”

In addition, other stores opening with the expansion wing are Foot Locker, Forever 21, G-Star RAW, Cinnabon, GNC Live Well and Auntie Anne’s second location in the center that now includes a Jamba Juice. Vans will open on June 26. These tenants join many that have opened in every corner of the center over the last several months, including Brooks Brothers who debuted a new store in the same location, Altar’d State, INDOCHINO, Journeys, Johnny Was, Peloton, RH Nashville – The Gallery at Green Hills and the RH Café, Sundance and UNTUCKit. Last year, Apple doubled its footprint debuting a new concept store.

The mall’s brand expansion will continue over the next several months with the addition of apparel, luxury, food, home and beauty tenants that will cater directly to moms, teens, young adults and men. Joining the lineup are Abercrombie & Fitch, abercrombie kids, Aerie, American Eagle, Casper, Crate & Barrel, David Yurman (relocating in the mall to debut a new store), Dry Goods, Soft Surroundings and Warby Parker. Additional dining options will include Cava, Chopt and North Italia. Local brands Colts Chocolates and Coco’s Italian Market will also debut kiosks at the center. With these additions, approximately 55 of the center’s retailers will be unique to the market. There are also rumors that Gucci will open a storefront but no confirmation at this time.

For easy access to Dillard’s and all of the center’s tenants, more than 1,500 parking spaces have been added since 2015 bringing the center’s total to more than 4,300 easy-to-access spots. The valet by The Cheesecake Factory and Starbucks remains open daily, and the valet relocated from the east to the west side of Nordstrom off Abbott Martin Rd. will soon be open each day.

The Mall at Green Hills will continue to hold new and recurring events, including the beloved holiday tradition of Santa’s Flight Academy. For a complete list of stores, restaurants and happenings, visit www.shopgreenhills.com/stores.
