MADE SOUTH Adds Cocktails to its Mix

MADE SOUTH and Eli Mason

Franklin-based event company, MADE SOUTH, announced it has acquired Nashville company Eli Mason, a spirit-forward, premium cocktail mixer brand.

“I’ve been an Eli Mason customer for a long time,” said Chris Thomas, founder of MADE SOUTH. “The purchase fits well with MADE SOUTH’s growing platform of events that celebrate the best artisan goods, food, drink, music, and art in the South.”

Eli Mason was founded in 2013 and quickly grew a reputation as a high-quality mixer. By 2015, Eli Mason was widely distributed in both gift shops and liquor stores in Tennessee.

“Chris has built an audience with MADE SOUTH that appreciates fine Southern goods and workmanship,” said Eli Mason founder, Luke Duncan. “I believe that MADE SOUTH is the right company to take Eli Mason into the next phase of its development.”

MADE SOUTH plans to incorporate the Eli Mason brand into its six events throughout the Southeast in 2017 and expand distribution throughout the South.

“When Luke approached me with the opportunity to bring Eli Mason into the MADE SOUTH family, it seemed like a no-brainer. He’s done a great job building this business over the last three years, and I’m honored that he would trust me with the next chapter of Eli Mason’s story,” noted Thomas. “Plus, as a whiskey enthusiast, I love that Eli Mason mixers don’t mask the flavors of my favorite whiskeys. These are amazing products and I can’t wait to introduce the Eli Mason brand to the rest of the South.”

The MADE SOUTH 2017 events will take place in Hoover, AL, Franklin, TN, Atlanta, GA and Louisville, KY. Tickets for all events are available at madesouth.com.
